Emma's 4th Birthday - This cake was made to match the Minnie Mouse theme for the party. It consisted of the dome at the top of the cake which made up the mouseketeer hat complete with Minnie's signature bow. The bottom 10 inch tier featured Minnie's sillouhette complete again with her bow in 3D. The 8 inch middle tier matched the traditional red and white dress Minnie wears. The cake consisted of the top 2 tiers in chocolate and the bottom tier in french vanilla all covered in buttercream and fondant. The board was also covered in black fondant and each border consisted of black and white polka dot ribbon. The colors on this cake were red, black, and white.

Shoe and Pillow Cake
Gina's Birthday Cake - The chocolate double layered cake was filled with butter cream. The entire cake is edible, including the shoe made of gum paste. The pillow was carved concave to provide a more pillow-y look. The border is a rope design and the pillow also had a quilted look with pearl luster dust all over the cake. The colors used were burgundy, ivory, white, and black.

Sun Cake
Cole's 2nd Birthday - His Birthday was celebrated this year with a Sun Cake decked out with shades and cupcakes for sun rays. The center cake was an 8 inch single layer chocolate cake with buttercream, decorated with royal blue sunglasses and smile. The cupcakes which made up the rays were french vanilla and chocolate flavored also with buttercream. This cake also featured an edible Happy Birthday sign made out of gumpaste. The colors used in this cake were yellow, orange-yellow, blue, black, red and pink.

Poker Cake
Danny's Birthday Cake - This triple layered pineapple cake was covered with chocolate and vanilla flavored fondant and had a butter cream filling. The entire cake is edible including the playing cards and chips. The cake board had no border, therefore allowing it to be flush with the cake and with legs covered in fondant permitted it to look just like a poker table. The colors used were dark brown, dark green, white, red, and blue.

Tinker Bell Cake
Emma's 3rd Birthday Cake! This three tiered cake was chocolate on the bottom two tiers, and french vanilla on the top. Butter cream was used as the filling with fondant and gum paste decorations. The colors used were pink, leaf green, purple, lavender, light lime green, lime green, ivory, golden yellow and pearl sheen sprayed all over the cake for a "Tinker Bell sprinkle". The board was also covered to make it even more special.

50th Year Retirement Cake
M.H.'s retirement cake. This is a 2 layer french vanilla cake with buttercream filling and white fondant covering. The 4 tiers consisted of a 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, and 12 inch rounds. The other colors used were royal blue and red. Edible images were used to duplicate the company's logos over his last 50 years with the same company. The "50" topper was made of gumpaste.

Arabella's 2nd Birthday Cake! The monkey's belly is made up of 4 - 8 inch round, pineapple flavored, sculpted cakes with buttercream filling and covered with fondant for the t-shirt. The colors used were pastel pink, ivory, white, and a deep brown buttercream decorating most of the body. The entire cake is edible with the exception of the structure holding it all up. There is a brown and pink grosgrain ribbon adorning the base.

Private Eye Briefcase Cake
Kale's Birthday Cake - This cake was made up of four 10 inch square cakes, cut to make the shape of briefcase. It consisted of red velvet cake and butter cream filling due to Kale preferring not to go with the traditional cream cheese frosting. The cake is covered in fondant, and gumpaste makes up the decoration. The cake was airbrushed with edible silver coloring. As, a special surprise, his "real" birthday money was hidden inside the cake protected by a zip-lock bag.

Santa Claus Cake - Christmas
Bronwen Weber from Food Network hosted a class and this is my first stand up cake figure. He stood about 18 inches tall. He was made up of white cake with butter cream filling, and fondant and gumpaste. The entire cake is edible except for the structure, but really only his body has cake. The colors used here are red, leaf green, edible gold, baby blue, white and black.

Ariel Birthday Cake
Emma's 2nd Birthday Cake! This is a 10 inch, and 6 inch double layered french vanilla cake with strawberry filling. This cake is mostly light blue colored butter cream, with the ocean blue waves being made of fondant. The decorations on the cake, consisted of gum paste figures, and some plastic toys. The top layer is decorated with sugar pearls throughout the sides, and is also the border on both tiers.
